Team Bangladesh has the chance to make the series 1-1, on the second test against New Zealand. As Bangladesh was whitewashed to New Zealand on ODI and lost the first test of three-match series in Hamilton.
Bangladesh has a horrible tour in New Zealand. As they have been whitewashed in the ODI series with a huge difference. So, they are having such a bad dream there. On the other hand, Bangladesh had a tremendous first inning on the Hamilton test. Then Kiwi batting destroyed the last point of bowling skill of any Bangladeshi bowlers. Thou Bangladesh scored well in the second inning but couldn’t resist the inning loss with 52 runs.
Team New Zealand
Team New Zealand is on a wonderful level of their confidence. As their openers, Tom Latham and Jeet Raval are performing well. Then Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, and Nichols Henry are well formed to destroy any bowling line-up. On the other hand, Kiwi bowling is another key points.
As the pace-friendly wicket on Wellington is a heaven for the Kiwi pacers. Trent Boult, Tim Southee Todd Ashley, and Colin de Grandhomme are performing well for some previous series. So Bangladeshi batsmen have to be aware of these kinds of bowlers.
The probable eleven
Tom Latham, Jeet Raval, Kane Williamson (c), Ross Taylor, Henry Nicholls, BJ Watling (wk), Colin de Grandhomme, Todd Astle, Neil Wagner, Tim Southee, Trent Boult
As Team Bangladesh belongs to the reverse of the hosts. As the injury problem is suffering the visitors extremely. Tamim Iqbal is not sure for the Reserve Basin test. On the other hand, experienced Mushfiqur Rahim is suffering from an extreme injury on his wrist and rib bones. Though Mustafzur Rahman is on the Wellington he was not fit properly.
Though team Bangladesh has such an extreme problem some positive sign too. Tamim Iqbal made some score in the first test. His fash can pick some runs for the team. On the other hand, Soumya Sarker is doing well in the middle order with Mahmudullah Riad, which is another positive sign for the visitors.
The probable eleven
Tamim Iqbal, Shadman Islam, Mominul Haque, Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah (c), Litton Das (wk), Taijul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Abu Jayed, Ebadat Hossain
Trent Boult is confident
Kiwi pacer Trent Boult is confident for the series, “There have been a lot of batting records here (at basin Reserve) for a reason, it’s a very solid wicket and it only gets better. I’m sure they’ll leave a touch of green for the seamers to enjoy but we just need to focus on what we do well as a bowling uni”
Therefore, Team Bangladesh has the chance to make the series 1-1. Hope team Bangladesh will return to the series and New Zealand will ensure the series.
