South Africa took 45 minutes

South Africa took 45 minutes to win Cape Town test. They needed 41 runs on the fourth day and won the series by 2-0 keeping a match in hand.

Babar Azam, Asad Shafiq, and Shan Masood saved Pakistan from an innings loss. But their lead was not enough to prevent the loss. As they got all out at 294 that made an easy target of 41runs to South Africa.

South Africa took 59 balls to reach the port of victory. That took 45 minutes to win by nine wickets. But four Protea batsmen had to bat for this target. Opener Theunis de Bruyn backed to the pavilion to Mohammad Abbas at 4 runs on the scoreboard.

Mohammad Amir hit on the Hashim Amla’s elbow that made him leave the wickets. Another opener Dean Elgar (24*) and Captain Faf du Plessis didn’t make any mistakes. South Africa captain Faf du Plessis won the Player of the match title.

Finally, South Africa took 45 minutes to own the series by 2-0 with a match in hand. That makes the Johannesburg test a “Dead Rubber” for Pakistan. On the other hand, Pakistan lost the last chance to come back to the series losing Centurion test.
