Centurion test will start third day with an equation when South Africa needs 149 runs and Pakistan 10 wickets.
When South Africa started batting from 127 for 5 in the second day. But they couldn’t score well. Before getting all out South Africa scored 223 runs. Which brought them 43 runs lead.
Temba Bavuma got fifty and scored 53 runs. Wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock scored 45 runs before. Mohammad Amir and Shaheen Afridi picked 4 wickets each other, cost 62 and 64 runs respectively.
But Pakistan started comparatively well. But they get all out in 190 runs. Though Fakhar Zaman (12) got beaten to Oliver. But another opener Imam Ul Haq scored 57 and Shan Masood 65 runs. After their wickets, the Protea bowlers made their day.
Costing 59 runs, Duanne Oliver picked 5 wickets in second innings too. Interestingly Pakistan scored hundred for 1 wicket but before making it two they got all out.
According to the scoreboard of this test, we can’t vote for any team surely. Anything can happen in day three.
Finally, South Africa needs 149 runs and Pakistan 10 wickets. So it’s sure that Centurion test has come to an end in three days. Hope, we will have a very competitive third day in Centurion.
