Pakistan is under pressure

Pakistan is under pressure on Cape Town test. They scored 177 for all wickets and South Africa started from 123 for 2 on the 2nd day.

As there was the forecast of bowling friendly pitch Newlands. So winning the toss protea Captain Faf du Plessis decided to bowl first. Pakistan lost their openers by 13 runs. But Shan Masood scored 44 and Captain Sharfaraz Ahmed scored 56, which was not enough to save the prestige. The rest batsmen were busy for the pavilion.

The pacers keep the Captain’s word. Duanne Olivier picked 4 wickets and Dale Steyn had three. Their aggressive bowling became consternating for Pakistani batsmen.

South Africa batted the last 30 overs of the day and scored 123 for 2. Though opener Dean Elger back to the pavilion for a caught behind from Amir delivery. But another opener Aiden Markram scored 78 before getting bold to Shan Masood.

Now Pakistani bowlers have to do their best. As they tried in centurion but lost the match for the failure of batsmen. Some changes in their bowling attack.

Finally, it’s true that Pakistan is under pressure in Cape Town. They have an acid test for tomorrow. Hope their bowlers will bring them to the match.
