Pakistan beat South Africa by 8 wickets and leads the 5 match ODI series by 2-2. Pakistani pacer Usman Khan got 4 wickets and won the man of the match.

As regular Pakistan Captain Sarfraz Ahmed is suspended for four matches, so experienced Shoaib Malik played the role and winning the toss on Johannesburg opted to field first. Though South Africa lost their opener Quinton de Cock with a duck, at 3 runs on the scoreboard. Then Reeza Hendricks disappointed also at 18 on the scoreboard.

But another opener Hashim Amla made 101 runs partnership with Captain Faf du Plessis. As Faf du Plessis became a pickup to Shadab Khan at scoring 57 runs from 76 deliveries with 5 fours and a six shot. Then another opener Hashim Amla bold to Imad Wasim at 130 runs on the scoreboard. His 59 runs inning came from 7 fours.

Unfortunately none the Protea batsman could play a role to build up the inning. Experienced David Miller and Rassie Van der Dussan could throw a good target to the visitors on the 5th wicket partnership. But both went back to the pavilion by 156 runs. The rest became another pickup to Pakistani bowlers.

South Africa Inning ended in 164 runs from 41 overs for all wickets. Picking 4 wickets for 35 runs, Usman Khan leads the wicket-taking festival and made the man of the match title. Both Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan got two wickets. Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim got the rest two wickets.

To the target of the tiny score, Pakistan started well. Two openers Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman picked 70 runs together before Imran Tahir sent Fakhar Zaman back to the pavilion. Fakhar Zaman scored 44 runs from 44 deliveries with 7 boundaries.

Then another opener Imam-ul-Haq made scored 94 runs with Babar Azam on the second wicket partnership. Scoring 71 runs with 6 fours and a six Imam-ul-Haq surrendered to Andile Phehlukayo at the level score.

Then Mohammad Rizwan made a four and won the match by 4 wickets. Pakistan beat South Africa by 8 wickets and leads the 5 match ODI series by 2-2. Another unbeaten batsman Babar Azam got 44 runs from 53 balls with 2 fours.
