Bangladeshi pace bowling sensation Mustafizur Rahman realized variation is the only key to success for a pacer. Accordingly, Mustafizur Rahman commits to trying with his best on the upcoming ICC World Cup-19.
Mustafizur Rahman commit to varying in the bowling
As Mustafizur Rahman is going through a rehabilitation process and asserted to the reporter, “I don’t have many things apart from slower balls and cutters. For me, those [slower balls and cutter] are very important deliveries and I am hoping to stick with it. But I am trying to learn new variations. The wicket will be good for batting (in England) but I will try to give my best.”
Mustafizur Rahman is not on a hurry to return cricket for the sake of performing for a long time, “It’s normal to feel the pain. But there is no need to hurry because there are many days to go. There are breaks between the matches. I hope there won’t be any problem. Injuries are uncertain. You can get injured at any time.”
The Pacer is ready to flash on Bangladesh Jersey
However, Mustafizur Rahman hadn’t his world Cup debut yet but claimed he is ready to cope with the biggest tournament of cricket. “I played in Twenty20 World Cup before but this is going to be my first ODI World Cup. I always had extra responsibility. Everyone expects from me so I always have more responsibilities. I always try to give my best because everyone has expectation from me.”
Finally, Mustafizur Rahman is happy to get a chance in Ireland in a tri-nation series. He took it as a conditioning camp in Europe. “If we perform well there it will certainly help us in the World Cup.” Bangladesh will be in Ireland tri-nation series and two warm-up matches against Pakistan and India before they clash with South Africa in their first league match on June 2 at the Kennington Oval, London.
