England women inning
England women inning started well, as they had to bat first, losing the toss. Accordingly, two openers Danielle Wyatt and Tammy Beaumont made 89 runs partnership, before Shikha Pandya sent her back, scoring 35 runs from 34 balls with 5 fours. Though Natalie Sciver couldn’t survive well.
But English captain Heather Knight made 60 runs with another opener Tammy Beaumont, on the third wicket partnership. Accordingly, Deepti Sharma picked Heather Knight for 40 runs off 20 balls with 7 fours, then Tammy Beaumont also surrendered to Radha Yadav, scoring 63 runs off 57 balls with 9 fours, which actually made the foundation of 160 scores.
India Women Inning
India women inning started comparatively the reflection of the result. Accordingly, opener Harleen Deol became a pickup to Kathrin Brunt at 21 on the scoreboard. Afterward, Indian Captain Smriti Mandana couldn’t survive as well, then Jemimah Rodrigues, Mitali Raj returned early. Losing 5 wickets by 45 runs, Indian women were under pressure.
Though Veda Krishnamurthy and Deepti Sharma made 30 runs together, which only delayed losing only. Veda Krishnamurthy scored 15 runs with a couple of fours. Then Arundhuti Reddy also scored 18 runs. Deepti Sharma and Shikha Pandya were unbeatable for 22 runs and 23 runs respectively.

Tammy Beaumont scored 63 runs and won the man of the match, “This morning Amy pulled up sick, had to step up with the gloves. After the start, where a couple of wides slipped away, I was a bit worried. Love batting with Wyatt.”
“She always gets off to a great start. Great to get a 90-run partnership with her. Then Heather coming in at the end, she was exceptional to get us up to 160. India bowled well in the ODIs and I was disappointed with how it went. Was nice to get a score and go 1-0 up in the series.”
