Cricket Australia confirmed,
“David has reported some pain in his right elbow. He will return to Australia on January 21 to be assessed but is expected to play in the remaining BPL matches until his return. We will have a clearer understanding of the extent of the injury once he has been assessed,”
As Warner played in BPL-19 for the first time. This Aussie picked two fifties from five matches in this season. He played a wonderful inning of 61 runs from 36 balls with six fours and two sixes. But he got an injury on his elbow in throwing back a ball during fielding.
