Dhaka Dynamites won by 105 runs

Dhaka Dynamites won by 105 runs against Khulna Titans on the 5th match of BPL. Dhaka Dynamite’s opener Hazratullah Zazai won the Man of the match title.

Winning the toss Khulna opted to bowl first. Two opener Hazratullah Zazai and Sunil Narine made a wonderful partnership of 66 runs. David Wiese backed Narine at 19 runs. Then Rony Talukdar made an effective inning of 28 runs from 18 balls with four and two sixes. Hzratullah Zazai got beaten scoring 57 from 36 balls with 3 fours and 5 sixes. Though Captain Shakib Al Hasan made a golden duck. At the eleventh hour, two windies player Andre Russell and Kiron Pollard made a storm. So Dhaka Dynamites reached the huge score of 192 runs from 6 wickets.

Both David Wiese and Paul Stirling picked two wickets each. Captain Mahmudullah and Shafiul Islam picked one each.

To the target of this huge score, Khulna lost Paul Stirling at 5 on the scoreboard. None of the batsmen scored mentionable. But another opener Junaid Siddique made a storm of 31 runs from 16 balls with a boundary and 3 over boundaries. Ariful Haque and Nazmul Islam Shanto reached double digits only. Khulna lost their last wicket in 87 runs at only 13 overs.

Picking three wickets Captain Shakib Al Hasan destroyed Khulna’s batting line up. Sunil Narine picked 2. Shuvagata Hom and Mohor Sheikh found one wicket each.

Finally, Dhaka Dynamites won by 105 runs and that reached Dhaka to the top of the point table.
