Determination for New Zealand Tour

As team Bangladesh just missed winning treble. But head-coach Steve Rhodes and chief selector Minhazul Abedin want to find something positive. Both of them are determined to use the blisses experience in New Zealand from last two series.

Steve Rhodes is very happy to his students. He wants to tour New Zealand with happy memories from Windies series. As upcoming tour is the last opportunity of world-cup. He is hopeful to utilize the confidence against black caps from the Zimbabwe and Windies series. After last match he said, “I’m not worried about this result or performance.”

“I felt happy for performance against recent Windies and Zimbabwe. We need this for New Zealand. The condition is quiet similar to England though they are tough for ODI. We have enough possibility to practice before world-cup.”

New Zealand series is in February. So Rhodes has some holidays in England. He will back by 12th January. Maybe team for the tour will be declared by 15. Then he will back to the practice with his students. Rhodes talked with chief selector, Minhazul Abedin and manager in Windies, Sabbir Khan, before holiday.

Chief selector repeated the coach. Some despondency occurs for losing in T-20 series. But he wants to believe it as balanced performance. He believes this also T-20 trophy could be ours. As they are closed that is also a good sign.

Minhazul Abedin satisfied to the young-stars. They performed well in the whole series. On the other hand senior players got back to the form. This made the team well balanced. This combinations with seniors and juniors make a good sign. Minhazul Abedin is determine to nurse this balance.

Minhazul Abedin wants to continue this to the New Zealand too. But 2016-17 tour had become a bad dream to team Bangladesh. They got white washed in three series. But Minhazul Abedin claimed for they have something balanced now. So this time it will be very tough series for both.

We hope a competitive series among them. On the other hand both team will utilize this opportunity for up-coming world cup.
