Man of the match
We needed back-to-back wins and the last game gave us some momentum. We are playing well and should win games if we play in the same manner. The wicket assisted a bit, kept it as simple as possible. A total team effort, we built from strength to strength and finished off well. Credit goes to the entire team.
Chittagong Vikings Captain has the satisfaction
Though Chittagong Vikings lost to Sunil Narine and Dhaka Dynamites are on the way to final but Chittagong Vikings Captain Mushfiqur Rahim has satisfaction with his team. As we know, Chittagong Vikings had some confusion of playing in BPL-19 but Captain is satisfied to see the team in top four.
“We had a good campaign, but we needed to be on top of our game against Dhaka. We were 20-25 runs short, 160 would have been challenging, lost too many wickets and didn’t get a partnership. It’s difficult to defend small totals and it’s unfair to blame the bowlers. We have had a couple of youngsters who showed the world as to what they could do. Very happy with how we played right through, hopefully, we will come back and win next time. Good luck to the teams that will play the final.”
Finally, Chittagong Vikings lost to Sunil Narine and Dhaka Dynamites are on the way to final. But Dhaka Dynamites have to win also in next qualifying match.
