Brandon Taylor tore his right Calf muscle
Accordingly, playing in Pakistan Super League-19 on Lahor Qalandars jersey, Brandon Taylor tore his right Calf muscle on the 22nd February and went to rest. Brandon Taylor has a glorified international career on Zimbabwe jersey. Despite he played 28 tests only and scored 1840 runs with 35 runs average but 188 ODIs brought him 6256 runs with 35 runs average also. Hope he’ll come back behind the wicket again.
Hamilton Masakadza has an injured thumb
Captain Masakadza meanwhile is nursing a thumb injury sustained during a domestic match in February also. However, the all-rounder has 38 tests only and scored 2223 runs with 30 runs average and picked 16 wickets also. Moreover, his 204 ODI brought him 5604 runs and 39 wickets also. So Zimbabwe is going to suffer much on the absence of him.
UAE is going to play with a full member nation for the first time
This will the first time ever the UAE will play a Full Member country in a bilateral series. The first ODI gets underway on Wednesday (April 10) with subsequent games to be played on April 12, 14 and 16.
